The Trust employs a team of professionals to work on the Trust's Ross Sea Heritage Restoration Project to ensure these sites remain for future generations. Disciplines involved in the project have included (or currently include) conservation architects, conservators, archaeologists, historians, structural and fire engineers.

 

CONSERVATORS WANTING TO WORK ON THE PROJECT IN ANTARCTICA AND NZ 

The selection process for conservators generally takes place in the first quarter of each year and if you fill out our "Registration of Interest" we will notify you via email when applications open and close.  Note Applications are only accepted during this period.

Applications for the Summer Conservators 2008/09 and Winter Conservators 2009  closed on 31 March 2008.

Missed the Above Intake?

This is a long term project  which will extend to at least 2012.  There will continue to be opportunities for both summer and winter positions and the needs of the conservation work programme will evolve each season.
